CMC's 8 Event highlights in 2008 Up to now, CMC Corporation has its own 7 member companies. That is, CMC Software (CMCSoft), CMC System Integration (CSI), CMC Computer Manufacturing (CMS), CMC Distribution, CMC Telecom, Segmenta-CMC, and CMC Information Security (CMC InfoSec). Here are the following highlights in 2008: ISP (Internet Service Provider) Certificate was given to CMC Telecom. Accordingly, CMC Telecom is allowed to provide telecommunication infrastructure, database, customer care, and value added services. Segmenta-CMC Joint Venture providing ERP service officially inagurated. Seg-CMC company specializes in SAP’s ERP consultancy (SAP is the company with the largest ERP market share).  CMC Corporation honorably received the “Certificate of Merit” awarded by the Prime Minister for its whole work in the period 2005-2007, contributing to the development of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Along with 1-Net (Singapore), T.C.C Technology (Thailand), CMC Telecom, the first company in Vietnam, officially announced the Asian Data Centre Alliance. The event marks the milestones of forming Data Centre Supply Chain in the region.  CMC Corporation signed a major contract with INDRA, the premier IT company in Spain and a leading IT multinational in Europe, to run IFMMIS (Integrated Finance and Materials Management System) project for Vietnam Electricity (EVN), the state-owned and largest electricity corporation in Vietnam. CMC SI and CMCSoft have occupied a key role in the project. CMS was worthily given the 3nd Labour medal by president Nguyen Minh Triet of Vietnam. CMC Antivirus and CMC Internet Security software have recently introduced by CMC Information Security Company (CMC InfoSec), which marks CMC’s obvious advance in network security and information security fields. |
