The examination tests the consultancy group’s level of SAP NetWeaver in developing ABAP application. Then it requires the consultants’ thorough knowledge of ABAP to apply in practical projects. According to Danish experts, the the whole group's passing the examination is out of expectation, for it is a big technical challenge for the countries without a developed qualification of SAP like Vietnam. Being recognized to achieve the certificate improves Segmenta-CMC’s competition capability in both oversea and domestic markets.

CMC Distribution – Emerson Corporation's an official distributor

CMC Distribution, a member company of CMC Corporation signed a long-term collaboration agreement with Emerson Network Power, one of the recognized leading providers of products and services based on open standards.

Mr. Truong Quang Dzung, Emerson's chief representative in Vietnam said: “Emerson's long-term strategy includes choosing CMC Distribution as an official distributor in Vietnam, providing the Vietnamese an open opportunity to access to the world modern telecommunication products and information technologies”.

Copyrighted software strictly complied by CMCSoft

Since November, 2008, CMCSoft has seriously worked with Ministry of Information and Communications and Ministry of Public Security’s Hi-tech crimes prevention department (police agency C15) to push up the use of copyrighted software at companies.

Accordingly, CMCSoft complies with the Vietnamese law system on Intellectual Property Protection (according to TRIPS agreement of WTO) by tightly utilizing software from well-known sources. Also, common risks of drifting software are effectively minimized.

On the occasion, CMCSoft has regulated how specific software adjusted to particular project are closely evaluated to meet the customers’ requirement as well as to keep pace with Law.

CMCSoft to enhance eDocman at Mobifone

CMCSoft’s domestic business centre has been chosen to technologically enhance “Electronic Document and Workflow Management Software” (eDocman) for Vietnam Mobile Services Company (Mobifone). The system will being deployed in the head office and other 5 centres in the big cities, that is Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang, Can Tho and Hai Phong.

Application of IT solutions

11 December, the seminar “IT solutions in state enterprises” was held in Bac Ninh province. Participants attending the semina include the leaders from offices and departments in the province as well as the state and private enterprises. CMCSoft’s speech on IT solutions for state companies and enterprises, which focused on eDocman solution, was highly appreciated. CMCSoft, then, is going to join other seminars in various provinces in the coming time, broadly introducing eDocman to both state and private enterprises.

Vietnam looks to conquer space

The Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-15) taking place in Hanoi and Ha Long City from Dec 9-12 offers Vietnam a unique opportunity to increase its cooperation with other regional countries in the research, development and utilisation of space technology.

Participants attending the forum include almost 100 Vietnamese scientists and over 150 representatives and officials from across the region, as well as the world’s leading space agencies, such as the European Space Agency (ESA), the US ’s National Aeronautic and Space Administration (NASA), and the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA). Under the theme of “Space Technology for Sustainable Development,” the APRSAF-15 is focusing on the application of space technology in natural disaster prevention, environmental protection, satellite communication and the raising of public awareness of space science.

APRSAF was established in 1993 to enhance the development of regional countries’ space programme and to exchange views regarding future cooperation in space activities across the Asia-Pacific region. (Vietnamarmy)
